Managing Consultant - Executive Search
To £50k ote to £100k
A leading executive search company is looking for an additional consultant to join their team in Bristol. Working across a broad range of sectors both UK and Internationally, this is a great opportunity for a seasoned recruiter who wishes to move their career to the upper echelons of the market.
This would suit a recruiter with a track record of success in either contingency or executive search who wishes to join a successful headhunting firm and develop a career, not find another job. The business operates in the £80-300k bracket and is looking to add an additional consultant who feels they have the capability to learn how to develop a market at that level.
The business has a number of markets in which they are keen to develop their growth however is also open to someone coming with their own niche they'd like to explore. You will perform the client development end of the role, so good communication skills both face to face and over the telephone are important, as is the confidence to win exclusive assignments for big ticket opportunities.
You will be supported by a research function who will do all candidate development for you so the key skill is to be able to open doors and develop relationships to gain work. At this level, you may only need 10 placements a year to be well over £200k of billing so this will suit an individual looking to move away from transactional, mid level end to end work to a quality over quantity approach instead.
All white collar recruitment backgrounds will be considered providing a track record of success can be shown. It is likely you have worked in middle management upwards so are comfortable talking to senior level client contacts, and can show the ability to influence decisions.
You will be credible and confident presenting at board level, and should be motivated financially and looking for career advancement.
This role can quickly develop into a management route for those who wish to follow that path,
Salary will reflect experience and track record, with £50k and beyond on offer for those who can justify it. If you are a consistent performer and looking to move into executive search, your package will reflect this but will remain competitive with an excellent commission plan, flexible working hours and a warm and welcoming work environment to be part of.
