A leading banking, finance and asset management recruitment consultancy specialising in senior level roles on a retained and contingency basis. Due to continued expansion they require an additional researcher to maintain and build relationships within the candidate market UK wide.
With a steady flow of exclusive, senior appointment opportunities within banks, trading houses and other financial services institutions predominantly in the city, this role is to develop a network of senior level candidates that these positions will appeal to. The role doesn't involve sales but is about developing a network of contacts through mediums such as linkedin to build a portfolio of high calibre prospects.
As well as the office based work, you will regularly attend networking events and conferences so you should be well presented and a confident individual in such situations.
This is a good opportunity for someone looking to break into the recruitment sector, and will suit a bright graduate or equivalent. The role is less about sales and more focussed on networking, building relationships, and communicating interesting opportunities and market info than cold calling. Ideally you will have some demonstrable work experience to date and anything in a sales or relationship led environment will be a distinct advantage but not essential. It is an excellent long term option for someone wanting to develop within this growing company.
Salary will be in the £18-21k bracket however for someone exceptional there may be flexibility. OTE will take the role to£25-30k in year one.
