Education Recruitment Consultant
Basic salary £20-30k on experience. OTE £35-45k+ Y1
Working hours are 7am – 4pm or 9am – 6pm in term time with reduced hours in the school holidays of 9am-4pm.
My client is a well known brand in the education sector, recognised for training and development of staff and having established relationships with leading educational institutes UK wide. The company has won many industry awards and has expansive growth plans for the future.
The position is to work within the primary education sector across the Bristol market. The role is fast paced and involves managing a portfolio of schools including regular visits to meet various department and year heads, plus keeping on top of your supply teachers. The education market place is busy and demanding and recruitment consultants would have to be flexible in their approach, being able to work longer hours during term time. In return for your hard work and flexibility you will be awarded higher than average holidays including all bank holidays as standard.
You may already have recruitment experience and have an interest in the education sector or have a background in sales / telesales and want to break into the recruitment market place.
Salary will reflect experience and will be up to £30k for an experienced recruiter, and for trainee level / sales backgrounds it will start around £20-22k. Commission will add a further £10-15k realistically in your first year but as you build your numbers up the ote can double and beyond.
