General Manager - Recruitment

A fantastic management opportunity has arisen with a specialist recruitment consultancy in Bristol. My client is a senior appointment specialist within professional services recruitment with a well established client base and high performing team.
To deliver their growth plans they require an individual to take over and run their Bristol operation. The position will suit a recruiter with a proven record of managing and training teams to success.
The role will initially involve taking over a team of a dozen or more, with the scope to expand this to treble the size in the next 18-24 months. You should be confident in front of clients as the role will involve mentoring trainees as well as more experienced team members, so you will be expected to lead visits as well as managing within the four walls of the office.
You should be a confident leader of people and possess the ability to motivate, support, and drive your team to success.
It is likely you will be in a management role at the moment but maybe have a glass ceiling or need a new challenge. Perm and contract backgrounds will be of equal interest, and any professional services sector knowledge will be considered but of particular interest will be Finance, IT, Change Management or similar.
The role is a non billing position however you may be involved with certain assignments to lead by example. The key however is demonstrating to those around you how to perform a 360 recruitment role successfully and grow the team three fold over time.
In line with a role of this nature the package on offer will be competitive. It is envisaged the successful candidate will receive a salary in the £45-50k region, with additional benefits and uncapped earning potential in excess of £100k within 12 months. Long term opportunity for profit share and equity exist too.
